| Summary of Project & Results: |
The Baker Victory Services Residential Treatment Facility involved the new construction of a 60,000 square foot, $16 million adolescent behavioral housing structure certified per the rigorous Office of Mental Health safety standards. The project scope included substantial infrastructure planning and design, and as such had multiple approval issues and constraints through the City of Lackawanna. Nonetheless- it was able to break ground due to the dedicated efforts of Casilio and the Baker Victory Services project team. The sprawling campus provides four programs ranging from foster care to residential treatment and will service over 5,000 young people annually with behavioral issues. After the completion of the Residential Treatment Facility, Casilio managed the asbestos abatement and demolition of the former housing units. Once demolition was complete, new site development and utility infrastructure improvements were underway. |
